Hey, I posted earlier asking if it's possible to get a visa at the Nagoya consulate and someone responded and said it was fine. However, a friend of mine also said that I may need to go to a travel agency to get it process as the Nagoya consulate doesn't process papers in person. Has anyone had the experience of receiving their chinese visa from the Nagoya consulate?? Any help is much appreciated.

What I know is that China consulate in Nagoya only accept individual visa applications from aliens in Japan who have residence permit or Chinese people's foreign spouse, children and parents. temporary visitors in Japan should apply for the China visa through a authorized travel agency by the consualte.

Yes, it is the China visa requirements in Japan actually. So, you'd better apply through a travel aegncy.
