same day service for the visa appplication

Question

It says I can get same day service in Chicago if the application is turned in before noon. Are there long waits or lines that would cause me to miss the 12:00 deadline? I'm only in Chicago for one day.

If you plan to use the same day service, you must submit your application before 11:00 p.m., so you'd better arrive at the China consulate in Chicago as early as possible. Hard to say whether there will be a long line in front of the gate. Good luck to you!
