Poastal Visa applications - Edinburgh

Your notes say-
"3. CVASC accepts postal applications, and they will be processed and returned within 5 to 14 working days if the documentation is in good order."

But the embassy notes say 'no poastal applications accepted'

Which is correct ? and if possible how can I make a poastal application

Thanks

Hi Michael, if you live in Scotland, your visa should be submitted to Chinese consulate in Edinburgh directly. CVASC is operated in London and Manchester only. The consulate in Edinburgh do not accept postal applications. So, if you do not want to go in person, you can entrust your friends or an agency to handle this on your bahalf.
