You should first check the Consular Jurisdiction. If you reside in consular district of Chinese embassy in Paris, you need to submit your visa application to CVASC which located at 117, avenue des Champs-Elyses, 75008 Paris. The Centre does not accept mail application, you can either go in person or entrust others or agency to handle this on your behalf. For application itself, you need to provide original and copy of your residence permit or work permit in France. Chinese embassy does not accept visa application from ordinary passport holders.
