About:Beijing Attractions

Itinerary for attractions and shopping streets

If I would like to visit TianAnMen, Forbidden city, summer palace, ming tomb, temple of heaven, great wall, WangFuJing, QianMen and Nanluogu Xiang, what will be a good itinerary in terms of convenience?

Now my 3 day itinerary is following this Package "BJ02"

I have 1.5 more day still empty. If I would like to slot in the above shopping streets, what should I arrange together to get the best use of time especially in terms of traveling? I can skip ming tomb and temple of heaven.

Hello, Irene. I have seen the itinerary that the package provided, but in my opinion, I think there is a better itinerary for you.
Since you have three days to visit Beijing, on the first day, you can visit the Tiananmen and Forbidden City in the afternoon. In the evening, you can go to the Wangfujing.
On the second day, you can go to the Great Wall and then take Bus No. 919 to reach Changping and then take a taxi to reach the Ming Tombs in the afternoon. In the evening, you can visit the Qianmen.
On the third day, you can go to the Temple of Heaven in the morning and then take bus to Nanluogu Xiang at noon. There you can have lunch as well as visiting. After that, you can go to the Summer Palace in the afternoon.
In this way, your traveling will not be in a hurry and you will have a wonderful trip in Beijing.

Actually I have 4.5 days in Beijing.. What other places would be good to include as well? Thank you so much!

If you still have one day and a half, I think the 798 Art Zone is a good place for you. It the most fashion place in Beijing and you can use half of a day to visit.
Yonghe Lamasery is also good to see. It is the residence of Emperor Yongzheng of Qing Dynasty. Silk Market Street (Xiushuijie) is also a good place for shopping, which has the most outstanding feature in Beijing. You can buy all kinds of goods there and the most traditional products of old Beijing City.

Thanks again Daisy! I am actually contemplating over Panjiayuen Flea market, Tianle wholesale, E plaza, National Stadium.. haha.
