HKIA to Shekou port

Hi there -
I arrive in HKIA with NZ passport on Saturday 1 Sep 12 at 14.00, and want to travel to Shekou port via Skypier and ferry. In Shekou I want to apply for 5 day SEZ visa. I know the Shekou port visa office is open until 5.30pm. My question is whether I will have enough time to get to Shekou port before 5.30, and if they will let me on the ferry without the visa.
