The Asian Red Beach? I am afraid I do not think there is such kind of place in China. Do you mean the Red Beach in New Zealand. It is so far from Shanghai, about 10 thousand kilometers long.

Thanks. But it does exist in China. I got it off of a Yahoo news article.
Please see below for part of the info. :

If you travel to China in the upcoming season, the fall, that's exactly what you'll see at the aptly named Red Beach in Panjin.

Located in the Liaohe River Delta in northeastern China, Red Beach is a protected reserve that attracts a lot of attention in the early fall, when its grass collectively blushes. The crimson flora is a variety of seepweed, a type of salt-tolerant grass, that turns red as it matures. It's most dramatic in September, when most tourists come to experience the organic Technicolor

Hi, Chuck.
The Red Beach truely exist in Panjin, Liaoning. It is so far from Shanghai. There is about 2000 kilometers between them. So if you want to go to the Red Beach from Shanghai, you need to fly to Shenyang first and then take the bullet train from Shenyang North Railway Station to Panjin. In Panjin, there is direct bus to reach the Red Beach.
Hope it can help you.
