travel from Hangzhou to Shatou

Dear Sir,
I am traveling from new delhi to Hangzhou on 28th Aug 2012,after this city i would like to visit Shantou .
My question is what are the ways i can visit shantou from Hangzhou is it by train or by plane,
if plane the cost of ticket with days/ timings and name of airlines
if i buy Hangzhou/shantou/Hangzhou would that be cheaper
same details by train also
