regarding chinese visa from hongkong

I am a Pakistani citizen travelling to hongkong. I wanted to apply for chinese tourist visa from hongkong.. can I do that?

You can not apply for a China visa in HK if you are not working or residing there. Anyway, you can contact a travel agency in HK for the latest information.
