Is visa required for a person China born with Argentinian citizenship

My mother was born in China but now she has Argentinian citizenship and holds Argentinian passport. Should she apply for an L to visit her parents in Canton for less than a month? The flight will land in Hong Kong. Then, parents will drive her to Canton. Thank you.

Yes, it is required. Is your mon a former Chinese? if yes, she needs to provide her previous Chinese passport if she applies for a Chinese visa for the first time. Besides, return ticket and proof of kinship, invitation letter issued by her parents are required for family visit.
