About:Mount Jiuhua

What is the best way to get to Jiuhua Mountain from Shanghai?

I see that there are a few bus options but find conflicting reports about how long it takes- one site says six hours while another says ten. Are buses the best option, or is there a train that folks would recommend? Thank you!

There is no direct train from Shanghai. In fact, the bus journey is about 6 hours. Another nice way for you is to take bullet train from Shanghai to Hefei, then walk to Hefei Tourism Bus Station (east of Hefei Railway Station) which has regular buses to the mountain hourly from 10:00-15:00. The journey takes about 3 hours.
