I will be in Shanghai on 15/nov/12 1 day visit from Princess cruise, where is the best place to

visit /shop.

If you want to go shopping in Shanghai, I think Nanjing Road is the best places, which is the most famous pedestrain street in Shanghai.
If you want to visit the attractive spots, Yuyuan Garden, the Bunds, Huangpu River and Xin Tian Di are some good places to go.
