Can i apply for a china work visa from malasiya with an Ethiopian passport?

What is your status in Malaysia? It could be difficult if you are only a temporary visitor there.

What matters your visa application is that you are a temporary visitor in Malaysia. Then you will not be able to get your China visa there.

You mean to change F visa to Z visa, right? it is possible, but difficult and costy by using a visa agency. Work permit is what you need to get from your employer before applying for a work Z visa to China.
