night market in beijing

Question

I'll be in Beijing Qianmen Hotel Piaohomeinn in Xicheng District and want to know how to get to the night market where I can taste typical Chinese food, such as ants, grasshoppers, mice .... I am curious to try.And also wanted to know since I'm traveling through the interior of China and still do not know the days I'll be  staying in every city, can I buy tickets when I get to the airport? Or is it better to buy now and plan everything before I go. Thank you for your help.

I suggest you go to Donghuamen Snack Night Market to taste those nice food. It is not far from your hotel and taxi is a better option.  As to air ticket, you;d better buy it in advance before travelling so that you may get a discount air ticket. It saves a lot money. For other transports' tickets, you'd better buy upon arrival at the city since you have no idea about days you will be staying in every city.  A well-prepared travel itinerary is much better for travelling.
