Coffee and lavender restrictions

I teach in China and I've been home in the UK for a few weeks. I'll be flying back out to Beijing on 23rd August.

A Chinese friend of mine wants me to buy her 3 types of coffee - 10 boxes each of two and 1 jar of the other, and 20 sachets of anti-moth lavender. Is this within the limits of what I can take into China from the UK? If not, what is the limit of these things?

Many thanks,
Steven Crake

It is allowed for personal use within a reasonable amount for duty-free. More than the limited amount needs to be declared and a certain mount of duty needs to be paid. As for coffe, you may need to pay the tax with a rate of 10%, about CNY200 per exceed kg. I am not so sure about the regulation on the lavender.
