how to get from howard johnson paragon hotel to west beijing railway station?

Question

It seems that I should take metro from the line 2 station Beijing Railway Station to  West Beijing Railway Station of line 9. But apparently line 9 can not be accessed by metro from other lines as line 9 is not connected by rail to any other metro line. At least it is what I see now in metro plans. Should I walk to West Beijing Railway Station from the nearest metro station? And from which one: Military Museum of Line 1?

I am afraid that you need to get to the Military Museum of Line 1 and then walk to the West Railway Station. You can take the line 2 to reach Fuxingmen Station and change to line 1 to reach the Military Museum Station. Or you can just take the subway line 2 to reach Changchujie Station and then take a taxi to reach the Beijing West Railway Station. It is just about 4 kilometers long between the two places.
