About:Taiwan Weather

will 27th Aug staring still a lot of rain in Taipei?

Hi i will be going to Taiwan on 27th Aug till 8th Sept round island, what should i bring and can we still go to the mountains n some where outside Taipei? As i can see the replies u gave to others that going on August are not so good weather... and I have been planned for so long already :(

Well, the weather is really not so good for travelling in August since it is very hot and rainy. The high temperature may up to 35C. Thunderstorms are often and typhoon also happens occasionally. However, it is OK for you to teavel to Taipei at that time. You can pay attention to the weather forecast closely when travelling there and better choose a find day to go outside for visiting, especially for going to the mountain on a nice day. Remeber to prepare cool clothes and raincoat or umbrella.
