change in new passport name

Question

hi,,my old passport has GIVEN NAME: Rashid ,, Sur name: Ahmedbut my new one has the Given name as: Rashid but my Sur name appears as:Ahmed khan according to my national identity card.and my JW201 form and admission letter have the name : Rashid Ahmed ,,acording to my old oneSo,my question is; whether the China embassy will give me the VISA or not,,,or they'll ask to change my passport name?

You need to provide an additional information that documents the Name change, such as a Name change certificate and get it attested by relative office, where you renew your passport.
