About:Chinese Consulate in Zurich

Visa for an Austrian citizen

Dear Madame/Sir,
I am an Austrian citizen and a former high official of UNCTAD. I have been invited to attend CIFIT in Xiamen. How and where do I request a visa to go to PRC and how long does it take?

You go there for offical or personal affairs? I mean if you attend the fair on behalf of any government office or enterprise?

Generally speaking, you should apply for a China business visa form the local embassy or consulate of China. You can just choose the right one according to your consular districts divided on this page https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/australia.htm
