Transit visa needed urgently !!!

I need a transit visa on way to my New York Trip. Visa needed from 4th September to 8th September 2012. How and where can i apply for the transit visa?? Can anyone help me replying this??

You mean a China transit visa, you may just apply for it from the China embassy or consulate-general in your living place.
