About:Chinese Consulates in South Africa

I urgently need to authenticate my documents and apply for a work visa to go teach in China.

I've called over 10 number no answer and also no reply on email. I just want to know if I the embassy is open, I don't want to drive all the way. I live in Johannesburg.
