early morning to great wall

Hi! I will be visiting China for 5 days, and on my way back from PingYao, I have about 5 hours before my plane leaves. However, I arrive in Beijing too early, 4 am. Is it possible to visit the wall at such an early hour (4 am)? I will arrive at Beijing West Railway Station at 4 am and my flight leaves at 9:56 am at PEK. 5 Hours is a long wait, and I won't be able to see the wall or forbidden city when I first arrive here so I was hoping I could at least see the wall before I left! Thank you!!

Actually, I don't think it is enough to visit the Great Wall cause it is a little far from the west station. The Forbidden City opens at 08:30, so you cannot visit inside.  I suggest you have a good visit of Tiananmen Square which is about 9 km from Beijing West Railway Station. Perhaps, you can catch the significant and solemn National Flag Raising Ceremony in the front of  Tiananmen Square.
