About:Chinese Embassy in Ghana

When would an interview be likely to be necessary when acquiring a student visa?

I live in Maun, Botswana which is far from Gaborone where the embassy is, I'd like to know the chances of me having to travel.

It hard to say. It is decided by the visa officers according to your personal information and the documents you provide. No specific written regulations about this, anyway.
