About:Beijing Hutong

Where can I hire the rishaw for a ride through the old Beijing alleys?

and pass by the old courtyard - Sihe Yuan?

I will be visiting the Forbidden City first. Will the trishaw ride be nearby?

Where will the trishaw ride ends? And roughly how much is the rate for the trishaw ride?

The main gathering places of trishaw are near Drum Tower and Qianhai Lake. There you can hire a trishaw easily and experiece the two famous itineraries:
One is "Drum Tower – Shichahai – Silver Ingot Bridge (Yinding Bridge) – hutong – the back gate of Beihai Park".
The other is "Qianhai – Silver Ingot Bridge – Houhai – hutong – Prince Gong's Residence Garden."
Or you can tell the pedicab driver where you are going including Forbidden City (Of course, the trishaw is not allowed to drive in) and they would take you there.
The rate is CNY 500 for one day trip.
