Transfer from xiamen airport to hotel

We are a party of 4 and arriving late night in xiamen. What is the best and safest airport transfer at 2300H? Airport shuttle bus to city costs around 6RMB per person. Checked travel sites and their private transfer by car costs US$100!!!
Are the airport buses still operating after 11pm? Are they safe? we dont speak chinese and communication may be a problem

The airport shuttle bus operates after the last airplane stops, so do not worry to take the shuttle bus. As for the ticket price, it is 8 RMB per person. You can take the shuttle bus to reach the down town and then change to take a taxi to reach your hotel.
The shuttle bus can stop at anywhere the tourists want, if it does not break the traffic rules.
