Question about China Visa in Russia for New Zealand Resident

Hi there,

I am a New Zealander living in Krasnoyarsk until November 2012.

I am wanting to take a tourist trip to Beijing in October for 5 days.

I was wondering what steps I need to take to obtain a Tourist L?

I have completed the Supplementary Application Form (V. 2011B), I have my passport ready and a passport photo. I have not yet booked my flights to Beijing and I have not booked accommodation yet. Do I need to do this before I apply for it?

Can I visit the Embassy in Moscow personally and deliver these documents for processing or is there other forms I need to fill out.

The reason I ask is because I will be in Moscow in August and I was hoping to get my appliation processed there.

Also how long can processing take?

Many thanks.

Pip

Yes, return ticket and hotel reservation are required to apply for a tourist L. With all these documents well prepared, you can submit your application in person or by someone else or a travel agency entrusted.
