Chinese Visa for German Citizen from Russia (dual citizenship)

Hi, I have a German and a Russian passport. I live in Germany. I will be travelling in Russia on my Russian passport this month. Is it possible for me to get a Chinese visa on my German passport from the St. Petersburg consulate? What documents would I need?

If you enter Russia with yout Russian passport, you can only apply for CHina visa with your Russian passport. Documents are your passport, application form V2011A attached with one photo, return ticket and hotel reservation; if travel with a travel agency, you need to provide an invitation letter from the travel agency.
