You can take a direct long-distance bus at Guangzhou Provincial Bus Station to that city. But there is only one bus in operation each day departing from Guanzhou at 19:00. The ticket fare is about CNY 200.
Besides, you can also take a train at Guangzhou Railway Station. 5 trains are scheduled from Guangzhou to that city everyday. It takes about 9.5-10 h for the whole journey.0
