About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

does China visa include Hongkong?

I'm a Vietnamese passport holder who currently studies in Australia. I intend to visit Hong kong first and then China at the end of the year. Do i need to get both of Hong Kong and China visa?

Yes, you have to apply for a Hk visa and a China visa. Although Hk is under the management of PRC, it has its own immigration rules as a free port.
