About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

When applying for a tourist visa is it essential to have a scanned copy of the inviter's passport?

I have everything else thats needed and have an appointment booked at the embassy tomorrow so in a bit of a rush. cheers!

No, you need only an invitation letter from your inviter, which includes his/her personal information (i.e. name, contact number, address and signature)
