About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Do I need to apply for the visa before booking flights/hotel or the other way round?

Intending to visit Hong Kong for approx a 5-6 days for the Electrical Lights Expo. Do I need to apply for the visa before booking flights/hotel or the other way round. I live in Perth and I'm hoping to complete visa here if possible.

You should book your flights and hotel first, since they will be required for the visa application.
