Is there a lounge where I can buy a day pass? If there is, approximately how much should I plan to spend on the day pass?

Do you mean the day pass on the subway?
If so, I am sorry to tell you there is not day pass ticket for visitors in Shanghai.

I have asked Air China the same question. The answer was: "We are very sorry to inform you that we do not have any lounge in shanghai airport".
