Our family would like to travel to Shantau from Hong Kong in by sea , any recommented ship company

There is no ferry between Shantou and Hong Kong.
Direct buses are recommended. You can the bus at opposite side of the City View Hotel. It will take you about 5 hours to get to Shantou.1
