information about l-visa processing time

Hello i want to apply for L-Visa tourism for my parents to visit china. They are invited by my girlfriend and her father in China (Still we are not direct relatives). Can you please tell me what are the main documents required in this case? Also guide me about the processing time for this case?Besides this, I am Pakistani national currently residing in UK. I have already got a L visa from UK to China and I will accompany my parents in their trip to China. Will it make their case stronger?

You'd better try to call at 0092-51-8355015 the visa officers on their working hours: 9:00 am to 12:00 am, and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Because for your parents, this trip to China is not for family visit. They may have problem to get tourist visas with invitation letter from your girlfriend and her father. If my understanding is right, you will come to China from UK, and your visa may not sufficient as a proof.

No Joe, I will come to Pakistan and then go to China with my parents. This basically is not a tourist trip. I want to marry my girlfriend in China and my parents are basically going there to meet her family.

I see, but as I said above, this trip is also not for real family visit. Anyway, just try to submit their visa application to Chinese embassy and tell them your purpose of marriage in China. They will take this into consideration.  Good luck.
