Lijiang to Guiyang

Is is possible to travel from Lijiang to Guizhou or anywhere else without passing Kunming? The train, i understand, will go through Kunming. I am trying to avoid back-tracking if possible. thanks

I’m afraid there is no transport from Lijiang to Guiyang without passing Kunming. In other words, despite by train or by long-distance bus, Kungming is a must-pass transference.
