About:China Visa

i am a u.s permanent resident. i have a stop over in pudong for 8 hrs. can i go out w/o visa.

Sorry, I need to know what passport you hold first? because passport of 30 countries are permitted to transit Shanghai for up to 48 hours without a visa.
