About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

Hi, regarding HK permanent resident

I got my HK ID in Mar 2008, and I went to South Korean in 2009 Nov and came back to HK in July 2010, afterwards, I was staying in HK until now, when we calculate the 7 years resident period in HK, do I need to start from July 2010 or I can start with Mar 2008? Thanks for your answer in advance.

I think it should start from 2008. You cna go to the immigration office of Hk directly to consult about this directly.
