Transit visit at Guangzhou airport

Hello, I have a 12 hour stop over at Guangzhou airport on my way back to Australia. Is it possible to leave the airport? Many thanks, Naomi

Yes, you can apply for a 24-hour stay permit on your arrival at the airport with your passport and air ticket to Australia, with which you can leave the airport during your stopover.
