Chinese visa for French resident

We are an English couple resident in Haute Savoie, France. Can we obtain our China visa in Berne? We aren't going to the UK and Paris is too far away to go. Also, we are flying to Beijing, but taking the train afterwards to Vietnam. These train tickets can only be obtained a month before the trip. We have already arranged this. Will the application form be enough? I hope you can help, thankyou.

You should apply for your China visa at Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Lyons in fact if you have student visa or residence permit in France. Besides the China visa applicaiton form V2001A & V2011B, you also need to provide your valid passport, train ticket from Beijing to VietNam an dhotel booking in China to apply for a China visa if you just go to China for sightseeing.
