About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Connection Between Flight at Pudong Airport

I have a Flight from Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai by China Eastern and I wanna make connection with my second flight SH to Sao Paulo by KLM. Should I make connection between the flight before I leave KL or can I arrange when I arrive in Pu Dong AirPort?
