About:Xining

I have travelled to China more than 30 times on Business Visa but still face difficulties for IL.

Myself Asif, Pak. national, living in Oman, from last more than 6 years. M working as electrical engineer in a company. My job is the import of electrical items from China (Inspection, material selection, doing OEM/ODM with Chinese companies, search suppliers, pricing, QC, packing etc.). I travel almost every month to China and till now I have travelled more than 30 times. I have multiple, 2 entry and single entry visas on my passports. Since last year the invitation letter is required from “Foreign Affairs Bureau, China which being frequent flyer is time taking, expensive and troublesome for my suppliers in China and myself even. The invitation letter is for single entry and every time they need to take and send to me. This is cutting my feathers day by day as I cannot execute my job responsibilities. Can anybody guide me how to get multiple entry invitation letter in this situation?? Thanks

You do need to apply for a multiple entry China visa to simple your travel procedures. You have had so many China visas on your passports, so I think it's easy for you to get a multiple-entry China visa. As for the invitation letter for multiple entry, you have to provide effective proof of freqent travel to China, adn then ask your Chinese partner to apply for such a letter from their local foreign affairs office.

Dear Frank. Thank you! i send the copies of all visas, the list of companies i am dealing with and other related docs. but all China companies act as individuals. the local govt. body deal me as if i have to come to one company only. on the other hand one trip i need to visit several companies to save my trips and expenses. China embassy in Oman is very strict and they do not consider too many visas or frequent flyer just demand invitation letters. would appreciate your guidance in this regard...

You'd better ask you Chinese partner to write an Invitation Letter with all clear information, designation, signature and stamp on, and take it to their local foreign affairs office for approval. Your copies of previous Chinese visas (on one A4 paper) are very helpful as a proof that you need visit China frequently.
