About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I'm an Indian studying medicine in China but now i'm in india & my visa expires soon.

So my question here is can i renew it from india or should i come to china before my visa expires ? If i should come then how early should i come before the expiry date ?

I don't think your school in China will issue another Foreign Student Visa Application Form (JW201 or JW202) for you to apply for a new China visa, so you'd better go back to China at least 2 weeks before the expiry date in order to leave enough time to deal with your exit or longer stay in China.
