Information about L type visa

I am from Pakistan currently residing in UK. My girlfriend is from China who sent me invitation letter and I got a Single entry visa from UK. I want to go to China with my parents, who are in Pakistan. I have to apply for a L type Visa for both my parents to visit the family of my girlfriend. Can you kindly guide me if they can get a L type visa and also what documents do they need besides the invitation letter/copy of identity cards from my girl friend and her parents?

Documents needed are their passports, application form V2011A attached with photo. If it is their first visit to China, they should provide local police character/clearance certificate. Besides, bank statement and round-trip tickets are required as well.

Actually, I am not a citizen of UK. I am a resident there. I mean I am having a two years work visa for UK. The only thing I wanted to ask is that what documents do I need if my girlfriend wants to invite my parents (in Pakistan) to visit her and her parents in China?
