About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am Indian working in Qatar. Can I get the visa for Shenzen city tour on arrival at Hongkong border

My stay in Hongkong is for 7 days. I plan to visit Shenzen for 2 days as a tourist with my family. We will travel from Hongkong and return back to Hongkong. Is it advisable to obtain visa in advance at Chinese embassy in Qatar.

If you join a tour group at Hong Kong organized by registered travel agencies in Hong Kong to visit Shenzhen for tourism, visa is not required and you are allowed to stay up to 6 days. Otherwise, you need to apply for a China visa in advance in Qatar.
