About:China Work Visa

Would a DWI criminal conviction from 2004 prevent approval of Z Visa (Work Visa)?

It seems that you must have no criminal record to get a Z Visa but this seems far too strict as it would cut off many qualified people who have relatively minor criminal records. Would a DWI conviction from 2004 prevent approval of the Z Visa?

Please check that if your DUI conviction has already been cleared from your criminal record first, or try to clear it now since it may affect your Z visa application to China.
