About:Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

30+ Day Visa without having to leave China?

Hello,

I'm an American who will be traveling thru Indonesia and then on to China. I would like to stay more than 30 days (between 30-60) in China without having to leave the country after 30 days. Is this possible?

It is ok, because after you enter China with a single entry tourist visa, you can stay full 30 days. If you want to stay longer, you can extend your L visa at local PSB a week before it expires.

Hi and thanks for you quick response to my last question. I can breathe easier now! As a followup, I'd like to know whether it takes the same amount of time to get a Chinese Visa in Indonesia vs. Hong Kong. I see from your website that expedited (1 or 2 day) service is available in Indonesia. I've searched all around but can't seem to find an answer with respect to whether this service is available in Hong Kong.

Also, would you say that the process is easier in Indonesia vs. HK?

Rush/express service is available in both Indonesia and HK. But you may be required the permanent residence in Indonesia. You'd better call at 021-579-38655 for required documents. If apply in HK, it is not required since you are free of visa to HK for 90 days.
