L-visa requirement

Hello! I have been selected for chinese Govt Scholarship for PhD program in Beijing. I will apply for X-Visa and my family for L-Visa. I want to know that if medical requirment is there for my family for L-visa or not. If yes then what are those.

For L visa application to China, medical exam is not required. But if they want to stay in China for longer than 6 months, it is required.

Thank you Alvin,
one more question please, I have two kids age 4 and 9 years. Should i fill the same medical form for them as i will fill for myself for X-visa or some other simpler one. There stay will be for three years there.

If all your family members will stay in China for 3 years, they need to get the medical exam done before applying for visas to China. You can help your kids with the form.
