About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Im military and need visa help

I am stationed in Okinawa with the military, and I am from Wyoming. My two offices, from what I can tell, would be D.C. or Tokyo. I do not know anyone is those areas, and I CANNOT travel to those locations to drop off my visa in person. To me, the restrictions against Americans seem pretty unfair, but I need to know if anyone knows of a way of either mailing my info to get a visa, or of a reliable online service to get it done. Again, I cannot go to any location to drop it off, it either has to be done online or through a serive.

I have tried calling the embassy as well, and they said I had to be in person. I told them the same thing, and they pretty much said oh well. Just looking for some help on getting a visa to visit. Thanks.

If you were told to apply in person by the embassy officers, there is no other ways to get a visa to China. So, better follow their requirement.

We are also stationed on Okinawa and planning on traveling to China in December. I just talked to our ITT agency on base and they have the capability to processed your China visa. The cost is high though. The agent quoted me $300 per person and it is valid for about 3 months. So, you should get a hold of your ITT agent on whichever base you are located at. We are on Kadena AFB. Hope this helps!

If you think China's Visa policies are unfair to Americans maybe you should see how unfair America's Visa policies are towards Chinese. In answer to your Question you can apply for a Visa a travel agency. If you use Fed Ex you can usually have you Visa and everything you need within 4 days.
