uk passport holder with swiss c permit

Question

My family and I are hoping to visit China for a holiday later this month and we need a tourist visa.  We need to take our passports, our swiss permits, the application form, supplementary visa application and passport photos to Bern when applying.  Do we also need to produce copies of our flight details in and out of China and a hotel reservation?  We haven't booked these yet as we would like to know we have our visas.

Return tickets and hotel reservation are required when you submit your China visa application. It is easy for you to get visas there if you have swiss C permits. So, just book them in advance.
