About Chinese visa application

Now the rules have changed again, I now need to include a letter of invation from my friend in China. Can you please tell me exactly what must be in the letter to make my Visa application go through smoothly ? In advance thank you very much for your time. Your help makes my life much easier.

In the letter, your friend in China should include your travel purpose, intended suration of stay, your accommodation area, who will afford your expenses in China, your travel itineraries, your con tact information when you are in China as well as your friend's valid address and comtact info.. Visa offices in different places my have different requriements, so you'd better enquire the visa officers directly in order to get the visa successfully.
